What is a wide toe box insole? +
An insole with a wide, squared-off forefoot that matches the shape of a wide toe box shoe. Your toes can spread out instead of sitting on a tapered platform with empty space at the edges, and the heel still stays locked in.
Which shoes are they made for? +
Wide toe box shoes like Altra, Topo and Lems, and any shoe with a roomy forefoot. A quick check: pull out your factory insole. If it's wide and squared off at the toes, this is your fit.
Do I have to trim them to fit? +
No. Wide Toe Box is shaped for wide toe box shoes like Altra, Topo and Lems, so you don't have to cut down a standard insole to fit. Take out your factory insole and put these in its place.
How is this different from the Performance Insole? +
Same build: top cover, up to 85% recycled ETPU foam, molded arch support and traction layer. The difference is the shape. Wide Toe Box has a broader forefoot, sidewall pillars, an 8 mm heel cup and a lower stack, 8 mm at the heel and 4 mm at the forefoot.
How thick are they? Will my shoe still fit? +
8 mm at the heel and 4 mm at the forefoot. They replace your factory insole rather than sitting on top of it, so your shoe keeps its room up front.
Which arch support is right for me? +
Neutral or average arches usually do best with Medium. Flatter feet tend to like Low. High gives the most structure under the arch. Already wearing another brand's insoles? Match your current arch level.
What sizes are available? +
Men's 5 to 15.5 and women's 6 to 13.5. Pick the size that matches your shoe.
How long will they last? +

Are they good for running? +

Take them out of your shoes and hand wash with mild soap and water. Let them air dry completely before putting them back in.
