Which arch is right for me?

Blumaka’s insoles come in three arch support options:

- Contoured Arch: For low or "normal" arches, promoting a natural gait and biomechanics.

- Medium Arch: For average arch heights, balancing support and comfort, aiding with pain relief and plantar fasciitis.

- High Arch: For high arches, offering additional support and cushioning to reduce strain and prevent or relieve plantar fasciitis.

Be aware that there are two types of flatfoot: "Flexible flatfoot" are arches that are normal when they are sitting or on their tiptoes, but collapse when they stand. With "rigid flatfoot", the arch of the foot remains flattened despite the foot's position. A flexible flatfoot usually requires a high arch support, whereas a rigid flatfoot requires a medium arch support. All of Blumaka’s insoles provide options for high, medium, and low arch support.

Which profile fits my shoe?

The best insole for your sport or shoe depends on the type of activity and the footwear you use. Low profile insoles are designed for sports and shoes where space is limited, providing stability, support, and comfort without adding bulk. Sports that typically use low profile insoles include:

  • Soccer
  • Golf
  • Track
  • Rugby
  • Lacrosse

If your sport uses shoes with more room, a max cushion insole might be a better fit. Max cushion provides additional comfort and shock absorption. Sports that typically select our max cushion insoles include:

  • Basketball
  • Tennis
  • Football
  • Pickleball
  • Volleyball
  • Baseball
  • Training
  • Running

Consider the fit of your shoe and the demands of your sport to choose the insole that gives you the right combination of support and performance.

"I’m convinced these are truly non slip, and the medium arch support fits me perfectly. I ordered them because I bought shoes one inch bigger to give my toes more room to move. The problem was my feet kept sliding back and forth, which affected my quick movements in pickleball. These insoles solved that issue completely."

Frequently Asked Questions

Which profile fits my footwear? +

Low Profile is built for shoes where space is limited, which usually means soccer and lacrosse cleats, golf shoes, track spikes, rugby boots and racing flats. Max Cushion is built for footwear with more room, which usually means basketball, tennis, football, pickleball, volleyball, baseball, training and running shoes. If the shoe already feels snug, choose Low Profile.

Which arch option should I choose? +

Blumaka NonSlip insoles come in three arch support options: Low for low or neutral arches, Medium for average arch heights, and High for high arches. If you are between two, the insole quiz will walk you through it.

How do I choose my size? +

Sizes are listed as men's and women's ranges, for example Men's 9-9.5 | Women's 10-10.5. Choose the range that contains the shoe size you normally buy. Men's sizes continue on their own from 13 up to 17.5.

Do I remove the insole that came with my shoe? +

Yes. Take the factory insole out of the shoe first, then set the Blumaka insole in its place. The same pair can move between any shoes it fits, so one pair can cover a rotation.

How do I clean and care for them? +

Remove the insoles from your shoes and hand wash them with mild soap and water. Let them air dry completely before putting them back in.

How long does a pair last? +

Blumaka insoles are made with a durable ETPU foam, which is why we offer a 1,000 mile cushioning guarantee. Most running shoes lose their cushioning long before 1,000 miles, so you can expect your Blumaka insoles to outlast three to four pairs of shoes.

What does the 1,000 mile guarantee cover? +

The 1,000 mile figure is a cushioning guarantee. It covers how the foam holds its cushioning over distance, and it is not a wear or tread guarantee. Returns and refunds are handled separately under the 90 Day Performance Guarantee below.

What is your shipping policy? +

We offer free shipping on all orders in the United States. We will ship in 24 hours after receiving your order excluding weekends and major holidays.

What is your return and refund policy? +

We are proud to offer a 90 Day Performance Guarantee, which means that if you're not completely thrilled by your Blumaka insoles, you have a full 90 days after receiving your item to request a return and receive a full refund even after you've worn them. To start a return, contact us at help@blumaka.com.

Are your mailers recyclable? +

Yes, our mailers are recyclable. We chose a 100% recycled brown paper envelope as our mailer because nearly every recycling center around the world can accept paper and recycle it.

Can I send my Blumaka insoles to you to recycle when I am done? +

Not yet, but we are working to make this possible. Sign up for our email list and we will email you when this is available.

What should I do with the old insoles I take out of my shoes? +

We recommend donating insoles that are still in good condition, or you can turn them into a fun art project!
